Rio Grande River Project (Social Studies)
Performance Outcomes:
This was a group project I was a part of before the Junior AGS trip to New Mexico. My group researched the Rio Grande river before going rafting on it. This helped us to better understand the river's connection to the area, and the history of it's impact.
- Makes connections between sources by grouping similar positions or identifying differences between sources, demonstrating a substantial understanding of the issue.
- Draws logical conclusions based on social science evidence in response to a global question, and raises specific unanswered questions for further investigation.

Neighborhood Mapping Project
Performance Outcomes:
This was one of the first projects I completed in AGS. It was about mapping my neighborhood and the places and things around it. It helped me to investigate the world I live in on a small scale. I also mapped my route to school, to understand my geographical impact.
