Teach For A Day (English)
Performance Outcomes:
I did this project sophomore year with a group in my AGS classes. This was an interdisciplinary project. We worked on making a curriculum for a 6th and 7th grade class about Hiroshima. We ended up doing a debate that worked out really well. The kids seemed to really enjoy the project and learn a lot. I attached the interactive presentation we showed during our lesson, and the lesson plan we made.
- Selects the most appropriate digital media to share insights, findings, concepts and proposals, or to interact and collaborate with others.
- Develops real or imagined experiences, events, and/or characters representing multiple points of view, creating coherence and building towards a particular tone and outcome.

Box Project (Geometry)
Performance Outcomes:
I did this project in Freshman year geometry. It involved finding a more efficient way to package food items involving dimensions. I really liked this project, because I really dislike how much material is wasted in packaging, and this allowed me to really analyze how much we waste. I attached my final paper reflecting on my project.
- Engages in clear oral and written mathematical discourse, analyzing the context of a problem to determine the level of precision that is needed. Identifies sources of error in estimates and evaluates its potential impact on the solution.
- Selects and uses appropriate media to effectively communicate mathematical ideas. Evaluates and refines media choices and mathematical ideas
